Fox Creek Bike Park Consultation

ForestrySA is undertaking engagement activities to identify sustainable long-term management models that can help ensure Fox Creek Bike Park can be maintained, and enhanced, as a premier Mountain Bike destination, alongside ForestrySA’s forest management, conservation and cultural heritage obligations.

Intended outcomes include:.

  • Achieving a best-practice management model for Fox Creek Bike Park.
  • Fox Creek Bike Park remains accessible to the community for the purpose of community recreation.
  • Continued collaboration with the community and local business.
  • Productive communication, planning, and engagement with stakeholders.
  • A collaborative management arrangement with ForestrySA.
  • Natural and cultural assets are maintained and celebrated.

ForestrySA values community feedback and has initiated a two-stage process to assist in identifying a viable management model.

Stage 1: YourSAy community survey. This engagement channel assists in gathering feedback, opinions and suggestions from the community. Participate in the survey here.

Stage 2: Request for Proposal (RFP). Proponents with viable proposals to undertake the ongoing maintenance, and enhancement, of Fox Creek Bike Park are invited to submit their official proposal. Submit your proposal here.

The results from the community YourSAy will be collated into key information, trends and themes for consideration by the assessment panel alongside official proposals.

Drop-in Sessions: ForestrySA staff will set up a stall at Fox Creek Bike Park to be available for discussions with users about the RFP, the purpose and objective of the engagement, and intended outcomes.

Sunday 1 December, 10am – 1pm and Sunday 15 December, 10am – 1pm

Fox Creek Bike Park Trail Hub, Croft Road.
